Card Making Weekend

I had a fabulous weekend and hope you did too!  I got together with 3 friends for a card making weekend.  Three of us loaded up our supplies (you'd think we were moving in) and headed to our hostess's place and had a blast! We shared tips, tools, supplies, great food and most of all laughs.  We get together twice a year and eagerly await the next session. I love seeing the difference in each of our styles and when seeing a card you think. . . Oh, that's a "Mary" card.

I worked on Christmas cards as time is running out and my stash is sadly underwhelming.  I didn't focus on challenges but did use a few for inspiration.  Today's card is based on the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches.  I love the simplicity of the sketch and didn't stray much as I wanted to capture that clean look. Stamped and punched a couple of green trees and layered them on a white panel, one with dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped in Rich Razzleberry, just for a hint of an unexpected twist.  The panel was added to a white card base.  Done!

Happy Stamping,
Dana
