The challenge at Time Out Challenges is Christmas with
the optional twist of “use pink and/or purple”.
I love mixing it up on Christmas cards and straying outside the
traditional red and green, even though that does make up most of the Christmas
cards I make. I have done a lot in blues
but not pink or purple. I decided to
emboss an ornate ornament in white on pink card stock. I added a few rhinestones and a silver foil
hanger. The sentiment was embossed in
silver on white card stock. I played
around with pulling in some purple elements, but I liked the elegance of the
pink, silver and white. So I just added
a slim border of pink before mounting to a white card base.
